Our stay was fantastic! The staff were incredibly welcoming, the rooms were spotless, and the pool was very clean and well-maintained. The restaurant menu was great, and the staff there were just as amazing. My kids and I have stayed at many hotels, and this one is definitely at the top of our list. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Sudbury restaurant. A big plus was that kids eat free when you stay at the hotel, which made our stay even better for our family. Abdul, our server, was extremely kind, helpful, and proactive. He made sure we were comfortable, checked in on us regularly, and went out of his way to help with anything we needed. His warm and attentive service really stood out and made our dining experience enjoyable. We truly appreciated the excellent service and would happily dine here again.

We recently had our wedding at the Holiday Inn and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Communication with Namrata was amazing from day one. She was always responsive, helpful and made sure every question I had was answered quickly and clearly. The day of the wedding she was available when I had questions and last minute requests. She definitely went out of her way to help with anything I needed. The staff working the night before went above and beyond our expectations to ensure that everything was set up exactly how we envisioned it. This meant so much to us. On the night of the wedding everything ran smoothly and we were able to fully enjoy the night without any stress. The staff were absolutely amazing! We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding service and professionalism of the entire team. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend the Holiday Inn for anyone planning a special event.

We spent 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it . Quiet and clean . Great staff at desk and the breakfast staff was amazing helping us out with a special order . The restaurant staff was amazing and kind to us . Helping us with a special order for a sick family member. Special mention to Chloise and Jasmine our waitresses. Very kind and thoughtful going out of their way to help us . Thank you so much .

Good basic hockey tournament hotel that does cater to teams. We were there for a tournament for 3 days so the location was ideal for the arena and there are plenty of amenities nearby. We never expect much from these sanctioned event hotels so didn't arrive with high expectations. We had to call maintenance to fix an already clogged sink drain and the light around the mirror was burned out. Once they showed up it was fixed quickly. No microwave or room safe but you can ask for an additional charge. There's a community microwave in the lobby. Food on site is OK but nothing exceptional. The bar/restaurant is open from 5-10 pm. Basic breakfast buffet was included for the hockey teams but you can pay extra for a sit down breakfast in the dining room. There are plenty of other places to eat nearby to suit your taste. Overall as others have noted, the building is a bit dated in places and needs a few renovations or repairs but it wasn't terrible. Don't expect 5 star when the property has a 3 star rating. Rooms are cleaned up daily and were clean on arrival. The section we were in was very quiet which isn't always the case when hockey teams invade.

This hotel is really nice - everything is clean, beds were comfy, fridge was nice and cold. We stayed in 566 Ramsey and it was quiet, easy access to our car from the back entrance. Neat view of the Inco stack on our side of the building. The great: the pool was fantastic, like 85 degrees which was awesome for a stay in November. Housekeeping is really good, as a past housekeeper they were better than I ever was haha. The meh: our curtains didn't close all the way so there was a gap of light. I used hair clips to clip it closed. No fan in the bathroom. Wasn't really sure when the restaurant/breakfast was open downstairs, the in room booklet said to check for hours. The greats were enough to not really care about the little things!

Had a very nice stay. The desk staff were all very inviting and friendly. Room was a good size and clean, bed was very comfortable. Its literally 30 below outside and the room was warm. Shower had lots of hot water, and the gym is 24 hr which is very nice when you've been on the road all evening and want to get some exercise in late before bed. Breakfast was good. Location is about 5 min in town off the highway near amenities and restaurants should you need.

A pleasant stay overall for a sporting tournament at Laurentian university. The rooms were very good. Nice and big and updated very nicely too. The bed was comfy and the pillows were firm and thick which I usually like mine a little flatter but tat doesn’t really exist in hotels. Service was good depending where you are in the hotel. The front desk was efficient and friendly and the waiter in the restaurant near the front was very friendly and was always went above and beyond to help us out from making jokes with us to insisting on helping us pour the water. Service at the breakfast restaurant was average. No one really spoke or said anything and more robotic. The food for the breakfast wasn’t anything to rave about. Te breakfast potatoes and bacon were probably the best thing. Bread even before it was toasted was stale from what I heard of a fellow parent and my kids who usually love breakfast sausages were not anything special to them. Would probably recommend going to the nearby spots for breakfast or the nearby bakery for some fresh croissants. Location for Sudbury was decent. It’s about a few minutes off the highway and have a lot of places right by the hotel. Gas stations and restaurants were all within five minutes of each other and many are walkable from this hotel. Also regarding the location, it’s about 10 mins drive to the Laurentian athletic centre and also 10 mins to downtown Sudbury. Parking is in abundance and the hotel is large so they do have parking and entrances available on the back depending on where you are staying in the hotel. Good job overall
